We are the 1st Chippenham Scouts, part of the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation.

At Scouts we like to give everything a go. We like to try new skills and discover new hobbies such as craft work, cooking on open fires, map reading, camping, hiking, raft building, and canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends every week –  having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.

We help young people learn #SkillsForLife to get jobs, save lives and even change the world!

Our sections meeting every week during term time:

	Beavers meet on Monday evenings
	Cubs meet on Wednesday evenings
	Scouts meet on Tuesday evenings
	Executive Committee meetings are held every other month

There’s always a lot going on at 1st Chippenham and across Wiltshire North, from meetings for young people almost every day of the week to camps, activities and adventures!

These can be a Beaver’s first night away from home all the way up to an Scout cooking their first meal on a fire!
